#11. Music 30"x34" 11/98 Oil on Canvas

For this one I had an overwhelming urge to paint a canvas this particular odd shade of light reddish purple, "mauve". It seemed very daring, and like "Fires of Life", it sat there for a couple of days before I was urged to do the rest of it. The energy guiding me seemed very different this time, as if a different spirit stepped in and said "Let me do this one this time."
I decided to let go and not question, no matter how odd the instructions might seem, and out came this strange color combination. The whole time, I kept hearing in my head, "La di da, as in music", and I almost named it that. It was another fun one to do.
